2008 Annual Report
(Fiscal year ending June 30, 2008)
The Iowa Department of Economic Development Board is providing this Annual Status Report on the Iowa Values Fund and other programs from July 2003 through June 2008. The Department is committed to transparent, accountable administration of its direct financial assistance and tax credit programs. This report was prepared with the goal of providing information in a clear, consistent and easily understandable format. This Report is intended to meet the Department’s statutory reporting requirements for designated programs. It also includes voluntary reporting on other job creation programs administered by IDED.
This Report and Web application includes several new information and format features that greatly enhance the depth and usability of information provided. The Executive Summary provides a detail of the 2007 Awards, as well as cumulative totals of the direct financial assistance and tax credit programs made from July 2003 to June 2008. Those wanting to access more detailed information about specific business development awards can retrieve the information in the Project Portfolio. Here you can search a cumulative database (July 2003 - June 2007) by project status, program, funding source, location and/or keyword; and also access a clickable map of the FY '08 awards.
We are proud of the story that this report tells, a statewide distribution of awards that benefit rural and urban areas; as well as companies, large and small.
